Final Project

For my final project..    

My original plan was to take portraits of people and their pets and print them out onto silk screen, then sewing into the silk screen prints with colorful thread designs around the people and pets.

Considering the short time, i didn't have time to find enough people with pets.

Soo.. I decided to do a portrait of myself with my own pet and making a gel medium print of it. I am also going to sew into the gel medium print with colorful thread designs.

The pictures aren't great at the moment..  Im going to be re-taking these photos for a better look.

Hole Book Concept..

For my hole book concept, i have decided to deal with certain emotions; like sadness, happiness, rebellious, strong, frustration, etc... . Im using a white mask to cover the face and only showing emotion through body language.  Im not sure how i want to do the holes yet.  

Personal Heaven

My personal Heaven...

is being in the middle of a beautiful meadow of flowers with a random clear water pool.  I don't like lakes or rivers that much, unless you can see clearly through it, because you never know what's in them.  I love to swim and being in a secluded area where there is a clear pool, would be amazing. 

Personal Hell

My personal hell...

is spiders.  When i see them anywhere, they freak me out, but i wont kill them or even come close to touching them.  Spiders are probably the only creepiest insects i hate.  I have had many dreams, where spiders are crawling all over me and i will wake up having to reassure myself that it was just a dream.  Actually I have had spiders crawl on me before, but its just only one, at different times.  I also freak out when i walk through a spider web.  I have created a creepy image of my personal hell with spiders and myself together.
